BUYER FAQ

BUYER FAQ

Clear answers before you commit.

What do you build?
I build custom table‑scale pieces only, including:

  • Lap tables
  • Bedside tables
  • Side tables
  • End tables
  • Coffee tables
  • Desks
  • Dining tables

No floors. No countertops. No permanent installations.
If it lives at table height and makes sense structurally, I'll consider it.

What table is right for me?
It comes down to how the table is used and how much space you have.
Small tables are best for lap tables, bedside tables, and tight spaces where you still want impact without bulk.
Medium tables work best for coffee tables, side tables, and end tables — everyday use with strong visual weight.
Large tables are dining tables, desks, and centerpiece builds designed to anchor a room and command attention.
If you're unsure, include your room size, intended use, and budget in the inquiry. I'll help you land on the right scale.

How much do custom tables cost?
Pricing is based on size, materials, resin complexity, and labor time. Typical starting ranges are:

  • Small tables: starting around $1,200
  • Medium tables: starting around $1,800
  • Large statement tables: starting around $3,500

These are starting points, not fixed prices.

Why do prices fluctuate?
All estimates are subject to fluctuation due to:

  • Wood slab availability and character
  • Resin type, volume, and color complexity
  • Size changes after design discussions
  • Market material costs

Final pricing is locked only after design approval, before any work begins.

Are these tables mass‑produced?
No. Every table is built one at a time by hand in my workshop in Georgia.
No factory molds. No prefab components. No assembly‑line work.

Can you recreate a table from a photo?
I can work within the same style or overall direction, but not create identical copies.
Wood grain, live edges, and resin movement will always vary. That variation is not a defect — it's proof the piece is handmade.

How long does a table take to build?
Custom tables take time. Resin cures on its own schedule.
Timelines are discussed during the design phase and treated as estimates. Rushing chemical processes ruins work — I don't do that.

Are resin tables durable?
Yes — when treated correctly.
Resin is durable but not indestructible. These are functional art pieces, not disposable furniture.

  • Use coasters.
  • Avoid heat.
  • Keep out of direct sunlight.
  • Clean only with a soft microfiber cloth.

Can tables be used outdoors?
No, unless specifically discussed and built for that purpose. Standard builds are indoor use only.

How does shipping work?
Tables ship via freight due to weight.
Delivery inspection is mandatory. Damage must be documented before signing. Shipping costs are calculated after design approval based on size and destination.

Do you accept returns or cancellations?
No. All custom table builds are final.
Once a table is built to your specifications, it cannot be returned or refunded.

Can I see your work in person?
I don't offer open workshop visits.
The only way to see my work in person is at local art festivals and events where finished pieces are displayed.
To find out about upcoming events, reach out directly.

How do I get started?
Submit a custom inquiry through the Commission Me form with your table size, budget, and general direction.
If it's a good fit, I'll reach out and we'll move forward.
